Leader of Opposition in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, condemned the police action after several people, including teenagers, were injured in the firing. Speaking in Patna, he said he met three injured students—one aged 15, another 18, one preparing for Army recruitment, another working at a shop to support his family, and one who had come from Uttar Pradesh.
Tejashwi alleged that the police used excessive force and held the Bihar government responsible for the incident.
