German police have launched a massive manhunt after a deadly van-ramming attack near Berlin's Pride festival left one woman dead and at least 16 others injured. Authorities have identified the 21-year-old suspect as Abdul B., who remains on the run and is considered armed and dangerous. Investigators say the suspect allegedly drove a white van into pedestrians near Tiergarten before fleeing the scene, with reports also indicating that several people were stabbed during the attack.
The incident occurred as thousands gathered for the Christopher Street Day Pride celebrations near the Brandenburg Gate. The event was immediately called off following the attack, while emergency services rushed the injured to hospitals. German authorities are investigating possible extremist links after revealing that the suspect had ties to Islamic groups in Berlin, though officials say the motive remains unclear. Police have urged the public to avoid approaching the suspect and to immediately report any information that could assist in his arrest.
