YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) State coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has urged the student and youth wings to make the State-wide rallies on July 28 against the alleged irregularities in the DSC examinations and demanding the resignation of HRD Minister Nara Lokesh a success. Organise meetings in universities, hostels and colleges, make extensive use social media and WhatsApp campaigns, and mobilise students, DSC aspirants and unemployed youth to maximise the participation, Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy told the party leaders in a teleconference on Sunday.
He also cited the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as Union Education Minister following protests over NEET paper leak. Alleging that nearly 400 DSC posts were filled under the sports quota using invalid certificates, the YSRCP leader claimed that the same individual had been assigned the roles of both examiner and convener and the question paper process handled through an outsourced employee, resulting in serious irregularities.
He also accused the government of failing to clear over โน10,000 crore in pending fee reimbursement dues and not fulfilling its promise of providing โน3,000
monthly unemployment allowance for jobless youth. MLC Lella Appi Reddy was present.
