On Kargil Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1999 Kargil War. Speaking at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras after laying a wreath, Rajnath Singh issued a stern warning to Pakistan, stating that India will hold no dialogue with Islamabad except on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
He accused Pakistan of making terrorism a government policy and blurring lines between its military and militants. Singh highlighted that India will no longer treat terrorists and sponsoring governments separately, as demonstrated during Operation Sindoor, while PM Modi highlighted the Shaurya Vijay Yatra motorcycle rally from Delhi to Dras.
