BJP Spokesperson Nalin Kohli On Student Protest And Dharmendra Pradhan's Resignation
In an interview with Rajdeep Sardesai, Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Nalin Kohli addressed the government's response to youth protests, paper leaks, and demands for education
In an interview with Rajdeep Sardesai, Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Nalin Kohli addressed the government's response to youth protests, paper leaks, and demands for education reform. Defending the administration's actions, Kohli asserted, "the government heard the voice of what's happening on the streets." He highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has previously demonstrated responsiveness to public sentiment, citing the withdrawal of farm laws as an example.
Responding to claims that the ruling party underestimated social media and youth mobilization, Kohli stated that the BJP fully understands the impact of digital platforms. He argued that while genuine student concerns were central to the movement, political entities and non-student elements attempted to exploit the agitation for political gain. Kohli emphasized that the cabinet has introduced stringent legislative amendments and fast-track courts to reform the examination system and ensure accountability.
