Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has been given additional charge of the Education Ministry following the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. The decision comes as the government faces pressure over paper leak issues and demands for accountability in public examinations, including NEET. Joshi, who currently manages portfolios including Consumer Affairs, Food, Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy, steps into the role amid opposition demands for systemic reforms.
