Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar on Saturday launched the BJP’s SIR-2026 Maha Sampark Abhiyan in Chamaraja Assembly constituency, visiting households to create awareness about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and urging voters to submit their enumeration forms to Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
The campaign was launched at Amruteshwara Temple near Alamma Chhatra in Ward No. 23 after the MP offered prayers. Accompanied by former MLA L. Nagendra, Mr. Wadiyar symbolically visited five houses as part of the door-to-door outreach programme. During the visit, he interacted with residents, identified households that had not yet submitted their enumeration forms, guided voters on filling them correctly, and advised them to hand over the completed forms to the respective BLOs.
He also updated voter details through the SARAL App on his mobile phone. Addressing party workers, the MP appealed them to assist every household in completing the Election Commission’s prescribed forms and ensure
their timely submission to BLOs. He said the campaign was aimed at strengthening transparency in the electoral process and urged voters to safeguard their franchise by participating in the electoral roll revision exercise.
