HYDERABAD The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has alleged that both the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are trying to divert people’s attention from the issue of NEET question paper leak by resorting to mudslinging on the party by bringing in unrelated issues to the fore and linking them to it. Party spokesperson Manne Krishank said here on Saturday that the Congress and BJP had criticised BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao for holding a rally expressing solidarity with the youth and students protesting across the country on the issue of NEET question paper leak.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had taken out a rally at Kondangal in support of Rahul Gandhi, and not on the NEET issue, he said. The ‘unholy friendship’ between Union Minister Bandi Sanjay and Mr. Revanth Reddy was proved with the fate of POCSO case registered against Mr. Bandi Sanjay’s son. Krishank sought to know why JNTU had engaged Globarena in 2013 in case it belonged to Mr. Rao. He stated that one V.S.N. Raju was the CEO of Globarena then, and now the same entity with a changed name was operating the website of Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences.
He pointed out that Globarena was given several opportunities in the education sector in combined Andhra Pradesh. Krishnak demanded the Revanth Reddy Government order a SIT probe to prove that Globarena was a company belonging to Mr. Rao. Meanwhile, BRS Deputy Floor Leader in the Assembly,
Talasani Srinivas Yadav, former MP Ravula Chandrashekhar Reddy and Mr. Krishan welcomed the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan saying that Mr. Rao had been stating that the issue would end this way since the youth and student community of the country were demanding the same.
