The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has demanded that HRD Minister Nara Lokesh resign owning moral responsibility for the alleged large-scale irregularities in the conduct of DSC examinations. Speaking to the media at the party office at Tadepalli on Saturday, YSRCP leader and former MP Talari Rangaiah alleged several irregularities in the conduct of the examination, right from setting the question paper to leakage of question paper and recruitment process.
Citing Dharmendra Pradhanâs resignation as Union Education Minister in the wake of the NEET paper leak, the former MP said that Mr. Lokesh too should follow suit. âWe demand the immediate resignation of Mr. Lokesh, failing which we will launch an agitation along with students and youth,â the YSRCP leader said.
âIf the government cannot conduct an examination in a fair manner, it reflects its inefficiency. The impact will be felt for generations to come,â Mr
Rangaiah said. The YSRCP government had recruited Village and Ward Secretaries and volunteers in a fair and transparent manner without any complaints, he claimed.
