The Cockroach Janata Party has called off its nationwide agitation at Jantar Mantar with immediate effect following the resignation of the Union Education Minister over the NEET paper leak controversy. The political party announced that all its major demands have been accepted by the government, including maximum possible financial compensation for affected families, the withdrawal of all central and state police cases against student protesters, and a commitment that no future action will be taken against participants.
Furthermore, the government has agreed to consider a five-point examination reform charter and engage in further discussions with party representatives. Following these developments, student demonstrators have begun peacefully vacating the protest site as police and security forces facilitate a smooth transition. Meanwhile, opposition leaders are preparing to address the media regarding the resignation and strategy for the upcoming parliamentary session, where draft legislation containing stringent anti-unfair-means provisions is scheduled to be introduced.
