In an interview, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi addressed opposition demands for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation following the paper leak controversy. Responding to criticisms, Trivedi questioned, "How you can fix the responsibility of the minister on that?" noting that the paper setter directly leaked the examination material.
He emphasized that the government is taking proactive steps to resolve student grievances, including introducing stringent legislation against paper leaks, reforming the Testing Agency, and setting up fast-track courts. Trivedi defended the administration's engagement with Sonam Wangchuk while accusing opposition parties of prioritizing political ruckus over constructive parliamentary discussions under statutory rules.
