The Central Government has initiated a major overhaul of the Testing Agency following severe backlash over NEET paper leaks. Services of 47 NTA officials have been terminated, with the Education Ministry planning legal and criminal action against those involved. Following the revamp, the agency has opened key posts to recruit new professionals, including four general managers and 16 young professionals.
Sources indicate Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will not resign, as the government aims to fulfill its responsibility by executing strict administrative measures. The decision was made following a cabinet meeting where internal problems within the agency were listed to assure protesting students and representatives of upcoming education reforms.
