The central government held a second round of talks with the Cockroach Janata Party at the Constitution Club to address the ongoing paper leak protests. The meeting ended without a breakthrough, though both sides agreed to reconvene on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Higher Education Secretary was transferred and replaced.
The Prime Minister announced plans for a cabinet discussion on a stricter law featuring fast-track courts to penalise exam paper leaks. Protesters continue demanding the resignation of the education minister as nationwide demonstrations persist.
