Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra on Friday (July 24, 2026) directed the officials and creative team of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) to generate creative and high-quality content in the form of devotional programmes that inspire devotees across the globe. During his visit to the SVBC Office along with Joint Executive Officer A.
Sharath, who is also the SVBC’s Chief Executive Officer, he reviewed the channel’s daily broadcasts and future programme plans. “The shrines of Tirumala and Tirupati, Mandapams, Praakarams, sacred Theerthams, sub-shrines and Srivari Prasadams are topics worth consideration,” he said, adding that the programmes should effectively convey the spiritual glory of Tirumala. The officer explained the importance of letting the viewers from across the globe stay connected to the innovative and engaging programmes.
Mr. Sharath informed that the recently launched ‘Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja’, initiated with the support of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishat (HDPP), received an encouraging response and hence would be extended to the rural areas. Similarly, renowned artistes from across the country would be roped in and featured in special spiritual, religious and cultural programmes during the ensuing Srivari Brahmotsavams.
Earlier, Mr. Ravichandra visited the model temple (built on the lines of the Tirumala shrine for the purpose of recording videos), inspected the SVBC studios, editing and spiritual content sections.
