The political battle over the NEET protest has intensified after Sonam Wangchuk ended his hunger strike following talks with the Centre. Congress leaders have questioned the direction of the movement, saying "Sonam Wangchuk and the CJP shouldn't hijack the students' protest." Congress spokesperson Bhavya Narasimhamurthy said the party has consistently stood with students and argued that raising their concerns should not be politicised.
Meanwhile, the BJP has hit back. Party spokesperson Tuhin Sinha alleged that three of Rahul Gandhi's planned student rallies were cancelled because of his unexplained
foreign trip, accusing the Congress of playing politics over the issue. n18oc_breaking-news News18 Mobile App
