TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and other party leaders slammed the BRS and BJP over alleged examination paper leaks, accusing both parties of failing students and unemployed youth. Addressing separate press conferences, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Goud, TPCC General Secretary Chanagani Dayakar and MLA Choppadandi Medipalli Satyam criticised the BRS protest at Indira Park, saying the party lacked the moral authority to agitate over examination irregularities given the alleged leaks that occurred during its decade-long rule and urged youth not to be misled by what they described as political drama by the BRS.
The Congress leaders alleged that several examinations, including Group-I, SSC and others, were affected by leaks during the BRS regime and said Telangana’s youth had not forgotten the controversies. They also accused
the BJP of failing to protect students in the wake of the alleged NEET paper leak and demanded the dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Praising Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and
Rahul Gandhi for supporting students, they called for financial assistance to families of students who died by suicide The Congress leaders maintained that those responsible for examination irregularities should apologise to the country’s youth.
