The second round of talks between the central government and the CJP delegation has concluded, with Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh holding discussions at Delhi's Constitution Club. The government described the meeting as constructive and scheduled another round of talks, urging demonstrators to return to negotiations. The CJP reiterated its non-negotiable demand for the resignation or dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, compensation of one crore rupees for families of affected NEET aspirants, and the complete withdrawal of FIRs filed against peaceful protesters.
While CJP leaders stated the government sought time regarding the resignation demand and agreed in principle to key student-related issues, they announced plans to intensify the movement through a pan-India agitation until their demands are met.
