Representatives of the Cockroach Janta Party met Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr Jitendra Singh at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi to discuss student demands surrounding exam irregularities. Following a two-hour meeting, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das stated that the center has sought time until tomorrow to respond on the demand regarding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He noted that the government has agreed in principle to two key demands, which include financial compensation for affected families and the withdrawal of cases against peaceful student protesters.
The CJP delegation outlined three primary demands: the resignation or dismissal of Dharmendra Pradhan, one crore rupees compensation for families of affected students, and the complete withdrawal of all FIRs filed against student protesters along with a written sovereign guarantee. Union Minister JP Nadda confirmed that the government heard the demands during constructive talks and announced that another round of discussions will take place tomorrow afternoon.
