What PM Modi Said His reponse came after PM Modi shared a late night video message and announced that his government would take strict action against paper leaks and would discuss and finalise a law in this regard in Friday’s meeting of the Union Cabinet. In a video message released late Thursday night, Modi said the government would introduce a bill in Parliament next week with provisions for stringent action against paper leaks. The cabinet will discuss the issue of paper leaks on Friday, and taking suggestions of the cabinet colleagues, further action will be finalised. PM Modi said the government would seek to pass the bill at the earliest when the second week of the Monsoon session begins on Monday. “On Monday, when the second week of the Monsoon session of Parliament will begin, a bill will be brought with provisions for strong action against paper leaks, and we will try to pass it as early as possible," he said. Delhi Protest Students from across the country and activists of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), an online satirical collective, have been protesting at Jantar Mantar and others parts of Central Delhi demanding accountability for repeated examination paper leaks and also seeking resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
