For nearly a month, thousands of protesters led by the Cockroach Janta Party have been demonstrating at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, seeking the education minister’s resignation over the NEET paper leak and other alleged examination irregularities.
After the July 20 crackdown on protesters, Pradhan posted on X accusing the Congress of using students as political tools. He alleged that the opposition was trying to politicise students instead of addressing their concerns constructively. His statement came after Congress MP and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi was detained while staging a dharna outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. The climate activist was on a hunger strike since June 28 as part of the protest against the education minister.
