The closures come as security has been tightened around Jantar Mantar and the Parliament complex.According to the DMRC, the following Metro stations will remain closed from 7.30 am on Friday, July 24, until further notice:These stations are located close to Jantar Mantar and the Parliament complex, where security has been significantly enhanced.The Metro station closures are part of extensive security measures around the ongoing CJP protest, which coincides with the Monsoon Session of Parliament.
Authorities have increased security around central Delhi to manage the demonstrations and maintain law and order.Delhi Police have deployed additional personnel across central Delhi, including teams from the Rapid Action Force (RAF), near Parliament and Jantar Mantar.The CJP has continued its protest at Jantar Mantar. The organisation had earlier announced the 'Chalo Sansad' march, a call that was also supported by activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was admitted to hospital on Saturday morning.The demonstrations began
