While Delhi Police previously denied using pellet guns, a medical legal certificate accessed by journalist Anand Singh explicitly mentions pellet injuries in multiple places on a 25-year-old Delhi resident.
The anonymous protester sustained around 20 pellet wounds on his back and elbow after police pointed gun barrels toward the crowd amid teargas firing. The medical documentation shows pellet guns were fired above the waist, violating standard protocol and placing protesters at risk of losing their eyesight.
