Delhi Police Inspector Nandkishore, who was injured during the Jantar Mantar protest, has described the incident, alleging that a large group attacked him while he was on duty. He said the crowd suddenly turned aggressive, claiming around 150 people assaulted him, while police vehicles were also damaged. According to the inspector, police and CRPF personnel in uniform were specifically targeted.
He was later rescued by fellow officers and admitted to RML Hospital. Senior police officials were also reported injured during the violence.
