The government has extended an invitation for discussions with protesting students regarding the NEET paper leak. A Union Minister confirmed that the administration is ready to meet the student delegation at their convenience, with the Health Minister also expected to attend. This follows a failed round of initial talks on July twentieth, after which the student group labeled the discussions useless.
The protesting students are demanding the unconditional release of a detained activist, the removal of a key minister, and compensation for the families of NEET aspirants who allegedly died by suicide following the paper leak controversy. The government's renewed offer for dialogue comes as protests and police actions continue.
