Speaking on the updated proposal, Singh said the invitations had been sent to the party’s representatives since the previous afternoon. He stressed that the government is prepared to discuss all issues at the convenience of the student body and that meetings could be held either at Union Health Minister JP Nadda’s office or residence.

“We do not stand on prestige. Union Health Minister JP Nadda and I will be present for discussions. Slowly, through discussion, we will progress towards a solution," Singh said. The minister described the move as part of a series of continuous efforts by the Centre aimed at addressing the concerns of the students.
