Pushpendra Saroj, a Samajwadi Party MP introduced in the broadcast as India's youngest MP at 27, discussed the CJP-led student movement, protests near Parliament and the government's response. He said students, older citizens, healthcare professionals and children had joined the protest, and alleged that some protesters were beaten and had their clothes torn. Saroj argued that the authorities failed to begin talks early, including during Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike, and said, "The government just does not want to listen." He called for responsibility over "93 plus paper leaks" in the past 12 to 14 years and compensation for people affected by the NEET paper leak.
He also said Parliament was repeatedly adjourned, opposition demands were not heard, and the movement had become an emotional issue after protesters sought political support to raise their demands in Parliament.
