This is not merely a warship; it is a thunderous declaration of India’s maritime might, self-respect, and ‘Atmanirbharata’ (self-reliance), fully prepared to strike terror into the hearts of the enemy. The warship was formally inducted into the Indian Navy at a grand ceremony held at the Karwar Naval Base (Project Seabird) in Karnataka. It is the first Indian warship to be commissioned at Karwar and the seventh vessel to join the Navy this year—with another 12 expected to follow—demonstrating how the Indian Navy is accelerating its modernization by adding a new platform every 40 days.
