Under a newly launched initiative called ‘A Dubai Invite’, residents and UAE citizens can earn travel and lifestyle rewards worth more than Dh3,000 simply by inviting eligible friends and family from overseas to visit the city. Launched by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the city ambassador programme is designed to encourage residents to promote Dubai as a travel destination while enjoying exclusive benefits themselves. What Is Dubai’s ‘A Dubai Invite’ Programme? The programme rewards UAE residents whose nominated guests travel to Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026.
Once the visitor’s arrival is verified, the resident receives a package of rewards that can be redeemed until December 31, 2026, unless stated otherwise. The initiative is part of Dubai’s efforts to attract more international visitors by turning its own residents into tourism ambassadors. How To Register And Claim The Rewards Participating is simple. Residents must fill out an online nomination form with the details of their visiting friends or relatives before they arrive in Dubai. Each submission can include up to five visitors, and additional guests can be nominated through separate forms. Once the visitor enters Dubai by air, sea or road, the system automatically verifies the arrival. Residents do not need to submit any additional proof. Within 72 hours of verification, DET will email the reward package along with instructions on how to redeem the benefits. Who Is Eligible For The Dubai Travel Rewards? The programme is open to UAE citizens and residents aged 18 years or older Individuals holding a valid Emirates ID Friends and family visiting from overseas who are not UAE residents Visitors travelling on a tourist visa or eligible for visa on arrival Guests arriving in Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026 The programme does not cover visa applications.
Visitors are responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa before travelling. What Rewards Can Residents Receive? Each successful nomination unlocks a reward package valued at over Dh3,000 (INR 79,000 approx). The benefits include offers across several categories, such as Luxury hotel stays Dining experiences Tourist attraction tickets Lifestyle services and experiences Participating brands include W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Meliá Desert Palm, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Careem and Hala. Important Rules Residents Should Know There are a few conditions attached to the campaign. Each visitor can only be nominated once during the programme. If another resident has already registered the same person, any subsequent nominations will be considered ineligible. Residents can receive a maximum of three reward packages during the campaign, even if they nominate more visitors.
