The CJP-led student protest has gained support from the entertainment industry, with actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh publicly backing the movement and urging authorities to listen to students' demands. Several other celebrities, including Shabana Azmi, Prakash Raj, Swara Bhaskar, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Qureshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Zeenat Aman and Sonu Sood, have also expressed solidarity with the protesters.
