However, the request was rejected.Singh claimed that he informed Rahul Gandhi that the government had agreed to discuss the NEET paper leak issue in Parliament, following which the Congress MP "changed the goalpost" and demanded the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.Eventually, Delhi Police detained Rahul Gandhi and other leaders participating in the protest.The Congress claimed that Rahul Gandhi sustained a nose injury while in Delhi Police custody.Meanwhile, party MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attempted to resist her detention by clinging to the door of a bus in which protesters were being taken away.The dramatic protest came a day after Delhi Police and other security forces stopped a march by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) to Parliament, with protesters demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET (UG) paper leak.The CJP march, held on the first day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, turned violent, leaving both protesters and security personnel injured.
