In an exclusive interview, Sudhanshu Trivedi, senior BJP MP in the Rajya Sabha, strongly criticized the opposition's protests over the NEET paper leak issue. Responding to Rahul Gandhi's demonstration outside the Prime Minister's residence, Trivedi stated, "Rahul Gandhi seems to be... perpetually in confusion," accusing him of engaging in theatrical politics rather than constructive dialogue.
He defended the government's handling of the NEET examination, emphasizing its role in democratizing medical education. Trivedi argued, "When the NEET was not there, the seats were auctioned," highlighting that the system prevents the exorbitant sale of medical seats which previously disadvantaged the middle class. He further alleged that the opposition's continuous agitations are merely a desperate fight for power, lacking genuine concern for students.
