Residents of Siddharth Colony in Chembur, Mumbai, attempted to organise a peaceful march to protest the recent lathi charge and use of tear gas at Jantar Mantar. However, heavy police deployment has restricted their movement, effectively turning the area into a police camp. The protesters originally planned to march from Siddharth Colony to the Chembur Naka area.
Despite the police barricades and instructions to remain within the colony, the demonstrators are still trying to proceed with their planned peaceful march. Authorities continue to guard the area to prevent the protesters from advancing further.
