The Delhi High Court has directed that Sonam Wangchuk be shifted from Safdarjung Hospital to Medanta Hospital, where a specialist panel of doctors will oversee his treatment and monitor his health. The court ordered that all medical reports and test results be transferred to Medanta and instructed the hospital to constitute a dedicated medical team for Wangchuk's care.
The High Court is closely monitoring his health after he was hospitalized following an extended indefinite hunger strike.
