The clip quickly gained traction online, with many viewers saying the gesture reflected the compassion shown by ordinary people during moments of public protest. "I had goosebumps after hearing this. I feel love. I feel care. Bare minimum, this is just powerful," one X user wrote. The Zomato delivery was not an isolated instance. Throughout the day, several videos surfaced showing volunteers serving tea, meals and snacks to demonstrators, with many people choosing to contribute remotely by paying for food online. The demonstrations form part of a wider agitation led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a satirical movement founded by Abhijeet Dipke, which had called for a march to Parliament from Jantar Mantar on July 20 over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak.
