Synopsis Andhra Pradesh is investing Rs 20,884 crore in irrigation projects across Rayalaseema. These initiatives aim to enhance water security and modernise existing irrigation infrastructure.
The Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi project is a central focus, carrying Krishna waters to tail-end areas. Works are also progressing on Galeru-Nagari and Telugu Ganga projects
for improved water distribution. The state is modernizing lift irrigation schemes and restoring traditional water bodies.
