Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that farmers’ interests will be fully protected in the proposed India-US trade deal, with “no compromise” on the farming community. The statement came as farmer groups gathered at the Shambu border, raising slogans and preparing for a Delhi march.
In the same parliamentary meeting, the government addressed the NEET paper leak, highlighting 13 arrests, swift action and the need for stronger systems to prevent future scams. It called for cooperation beyond party lines when Parliament reconvenes. Farmers remain firm on their demands while youth continue pressing for exam reforms.
