Protesters returned to Jantar Mantar after violence at the demonstration left more than 118 police personnel injured. Around 100 people gathered at the site, while Rapid Action Force personnel remained deployed and roads leading to the area were barricaded. Delhi Police had removed the protest stage after clearing the site.
Police sources said FIRs were being registered against people accused of damaging public property and participating in the violence. More than five Indian Police Service officers sustained injuries in the alleged stone-pelting.
