An Amaravati-based logistics startup, Bringgg, powered by RS Gentsia Private Limited and founded by woman entrepreneur Visruthi Yellapu, has secured a first technology infusion investment of ₹40 lakh from two non-resident Indians (NRIs) to support the next phase of its business expansion. The agreement has a provision for further investment as well. The investment will be used to develop four new verticals under the company’s Bringgg platform, the founder said. According to Ms. Visruthi, Bringgg has so far operated as a community-driven micro logistics and fulfilment platform connecting travellers with people seeking to send or receive goods. With the fresh investment, the company plans to launch Bringgg Care, Bringgg Ticketing, Bringgg AMA (Ask Me Anything) and Bringgg Cargo.
She said Bringgg, which stands for “Get Global Goods, Goods Go Global”, aims to create a peer-to-peer logistics network that connects travellers, senders and seekers while helping reduce or offset travel costs. While conventional couriers rely on costly hub-and-spoke warehousing networks, Bringgg uses existing travellers to move items directly, peer-to-peer, turning everyday journeys into zero-emission logistics. Bringgg AMA enables travellers to earn by fulfilling delivery requests for people located along their travel route. Bringgg Care is designed to connect passengers with elderly or younger commuters who require assistance during their journey, creating a community-based support system while helping travellers subsidise their expenses.
The founder said Bringgg Ticketing seeks to provide travellers with subsidised fares on flights, trains, buses and cars by allowing them to use their excess baggage capacity for parcel deliveries within the Bringgg network. Bringgg Cargo will further expand the platform’s logistics services. The app has a seven-tier security protocol, with an open-box policy, where the sender must show the goods before packing. There is a right-to-deny policy, wherein if the sender does not hand over the goods actually uploaded during parcel creation, the carrier can refuse, she explained. The new investors are Guntur-born NRIs Avaneesh Vishwaksen and Raghu Boddapati.
Boddapati, a graduate of Vignan Engineering College, completed his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and works as a Risk Analysis Specialist at Bank of America in the United States. Boddapati said the concept behind Bringgg attracted him because of its focus on solving everyday logistics challenges through technology. He said the platform had the potential to make transportation more affordable, improve delivery services and promote sustainable mobility through electric vehicles as it expands across the country.
