The trial for the Massachusetts mom accused of killing her three young children began on Monday. 35-year-old Lindsay Clancy is charged with three counts of murder and strangulation in connection with the deaths of her children, 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan. She's accused of purposely sending her husband out for errands, timing how long it would take and then allegedly killing her three kids before attempting suicide.

"Lindsay Clancy did everything a mother in her situation could do," the lawsuit says, alleging she sought treatment, went to emergency rooms, contacted crisis services, admitted herself to hospitals and repeatedly reported her worsening symptoms.
