नई दिल्ली में संसद परिसर के आसपास उस समय माहौल तनावपूर्ण हो गया, जब प्रदर्शनकारियों और पुलिस के बीच टकराव की स्थिति बन गई. हालात को नियंत्रित करने के लिए पुलिस ने आंसू गैस के गोले छोड़े और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को और सख्त कर दिया. इस बीच संसद भवन के मुख्य प्रवेश द्वार को बंद कर दिया गया, जिससे आवाजाही भी प्रभावित हुई. इसके पहले आज सुबह भी जब आंदोलनकारियों ने जंतर-मंतर से संसद की ओर कूच किया था तब पुलिस ने इन्हें रोकने के लिए लाठियां भांजी थीं.
इस दौरान पुलिस पर हमले के साथ गाड़ियों में भी तोड़फोड़ की गई..तो वहीं जी न्यूज की करवेज के दौरान जमकर नारेबाजी की गई... Meanwhile, the main entrance of the Parliament House was closed, disrupting the flow of movement. Earlier in the day, police had also resorted to lathi-charges to stop the agitators when they marched from Jantar Mantar towards the Parliament.
