The bulletin presents both sides of the Delhi protest and clashes. It says police used baton charge and tear gas against demonstrators, including students aged 18 and 19 who had gathered seeking accountability. Footage from the Hanuman temple area in Connaught Place showed some protesters pelting stones at Delhi Police and Rapid Action Force personnel. Separate visuals showed protesters trying to damage a car near Rajiv Chowk.
Delhi Police said more than 50 personnel were injured and around 70 people were detained, while officers were examining CCTV and social media footage. The coverage says the protest included university students, research scholars, a medical entrance examination aspirant with his parents, government critics and political cadres offering logistical support. It also states that some protesters reached close to Parliament after the Jantar Mantar march, followed by the use of smoke canisters and tear gas.
