WHAT HAPPENED A senior Hindi teacher, Saraswati Meena, misplaced approximately ₹1,000 inside a classroom. Suspecting the students, the teacher launched an aggressive search.

Girls from Classes 9 and 11 were beaten up, subjected to indecent behavior, and forced to remove their clothes to prove they had not hidden the cash. No money was recovered. Reports indicate that students who resisted the forced stripping were told they could only leave if they paid ₹500 on the spot. THE OUTRAGE AND ACTION Frightened students initially hid the trauma but informed their parents a couple of days later. Furious parents and local villagers marched to the campus, locked the main school gates, and staged a massive five-hour protest demanding accountability. The Rajasthan Education Department swiftly suspended the accused teacher, Saraswati Meena, under Rule 13 of the Rajasthan Civil Services Rules, pending a departmental enquiry. A vocational instructor, Vandana Sharma, was immediately relieved of her duties. Disciplinary action was initiated against the School Principal, Manoj Kumar Meena, for attempting to suppress the sensitive matter and failing to report it to higher authorities.
