Police suspect that Hamidullah was killed with a sharp weapon before his body was tied inside a sack and left in the bathroom. BODY LEFT IN BATHROOM FOR NEARLY 15 DAYS The body is suspected to have remained inside the bathroom for nearly 15 days. Police suspect that the bathroom tap was deliberately left running during this period, possibly to speed up decomposition and wash away blood and other crucial evidence. The case came to light after a foul smell began emanating from the flat over the past few days.
When police reached the apartment, the door was locked from the outside. They broke it open and found the sack inside the bathroom. On opening it, they recovered the decomposed body of a man. Forensic experts and Crime Branch officials also reached the spot and examined the scene.
