A delegation from the CJP met with a Union Minister to submit a memorandum outlining three core demands. The protesters are demanding the immediate resignation and sacking of the Education Minister, asserting that the youth believe the minister has failed in his capacity. Additionally, the memorandum calls for the immediate release of an activist and a compensation of one crore rupees for the families of NEET aspirants who committed suicide.
While talks are underway, the government has urged the protesters to end their protest. Meanwhile, high-level government meetings, including a four-hour discussion between the Education Minister and the Home Minister, are taking place to resolve the deadlock.
