A 24-year-old man was critically injured after a 30-foot fall during a zipline ride at a resort in Dandeli, Karnataka. The entire incident was caught on camera, showing the victim falling despite wearing a safety belt. The victim suffered multiple fractures and severe nerve damage, and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Vijayapura.
While the victim's family alleges safety lapses and negligence by the resort, the resort management has denied any negligence. The family also claims that the resort initially promised to cover all medical expenses but later failed to honour the commitment.
