The Barcelona star featured in all eight matches in his maiden World Cup campaign and played a crucial role in helping La Roja lift their second world title. Although Yamal scored only one goal during the tournament, his pace, dribbling ability and creativity consistently troubled opposition defences throughout Spain’s triumphant campaign. In the FIFA World Cup 2026 final at the New York New Jersey Stadium, Yamal played the full 120 minutes as Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 after extra time. Following the historic victory, the young forward celebrated the special moment with his four-year-old half-brother, Keyne.
