Security has been intensified across the Capital Region, particularly in the New Delhi district, ahead of the parliament's monsoon session and a proposed protest march. The local police have imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163, which restricts assemblies of five or more people, demonstrations, and processions.
The restrictions are in place to maintain public peace and safety. The police clarified that no permission has been sought or granted for the planned march. Additional personnel have been deployed, barricades strengthened, and vehicle checks intensified at key entry points. Citizens have been advised to follow the regulations and avoid unauthorized gatherings.
