POLICE TAKE ACTION AGAINST SEVEN PEOPLE Police took legal action against a total of seven people in the two cases for allegedly disturbing peace and law and order in public places. Challans were issued under Section 81 of the Uttarakhand Police Act.
Mussoorie police have appealed to people to maintain law and order in public places and asked residents and tourists to immediately contact the emergency helpline 112 in case of any emergency. Mussoorie Circle Officer Jagdish Pant said challan action had been taken in the matter and further investigation was underway.
