Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh, and YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday congratulated the winners of the 72nd Film Awards, and lauded the achievements of the Telugu film industry. In a message on X, Mr. Naidu extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the award winners, with special appreciation for the actors, directors, producers, technicians and every member of the Telugu film fraternity whose accomplishments, he said, had brought immense pride to Telugu cinema.
Describing art, culture and cinema as enduring pillars of the State’s identity and heritage, the Chief Minister expressed hope that Telugu cinema would continue to scale greater heights and inspire future generations through excellence. He wished all the awardees continued success and many more accolades in the years ahead. In a statement, Mr. Durgesh said it was a matter of great pride that ‘Committee Kurrollu’, produced by Niharika Konidela, had been selected as the Best Feature Film, and described the achievement as truly commendable.
He expressed happiness that the Telugu film industry showcased its excellence by winning nine titles at the Film Awards, and said Telugu cinema demonstrated its outstanding talent across every aspect of film-making, including storytelling, acting, technical excellence, costume design, makeup and production values, reflecting the industry’s creativity and commitment to quality.
