Ahead of the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament, a political dispute has arisen over rebel Trinamool Congress MPs who have joined the Nationalist Congress Party. While the Lok Sabha Speaker is yet to formally approve their merger, the rebel MPs have been granted separate seating arrangements away from the Trinamool Congress benches.
This development led to a clash with opposition MPs during the all-party meeting, where opposition leaders questioned the invitation extended to the rebel faction. Meanwhile, the government has formally recognised six rebel Shiv Sena MPs who joined the ruling faction from the opposition group, further shaping the political atmosphere before the session begins.
